About this course:

This course has been developed by Aboriginal people to provide culturally practical tools and techniques to assist formal and informal Mentors

Are you working with Aboriginal employees? This course will assist you to support Aboriginal employees to see possibilities, problem solve and retain employment. Mentoring in a cultural context is a vital skill to develop and the benfits to a Mentor-Mentee relationship can be rewarding for individuals and organisations.

This course is 5 days and includes; role-play assessments, case studies, research, questions and group work.

Dennis Batty is an experienced Aboriginal Mentor and will be delivering the Course.

Course Assessment:

The units of competency will be assessed during the course using a combination of role plays, documented activities, case studies and individual participation. For the project the participant will undertake mentoring project, produce third party and complete a self – evaluation.
